BNL Announces New Managers to Accelerate Growth Plans

The first quarter of 2008 sees John Hosker appointed to the new role of Sales Manager for EMEA and India and Janicke Aitken join as Programme Manager.

(April 2008, UK): BNL (UK) Ltd is pleased to announce the appointment of John Hosker and Janicke Aitken to the management team at BNL.

John has taken up the new role of Sales Manager for Europe, Middle East, Africa, and India.  He is responsible for the successful execution of BNL’s sales strategy throughout the EMEA territories.  The new role reflects the company’s plans to grow its business throughout this area and he will oversee the development of other expanding markets for BNL such as India.

John joins BNL from Mobile Utilities Limited where he served as a Partner in the company and held the role of Sales & Marketing Director.  He has previously worked for such well-known companies as Cooper Bussman and Danaher Power in International Sales and Product Management roles.

Janicke joins BNL as Programme Manager, taking up the mantle from John Nichols who moved to the role of Chief Operating Officer in the autumn of last year.  She is responsible for the Design and Technology teams and will play a key role in the management of BNL’s growth, efficiently steering new projects through to their conclusion.

Janicke has extensive experience of managing large and diverse teams in a variety of industries including IT, construction, manufacturing and engineering.

BNL is currently experiencing a period of expansion, both in terms of infrastructure and sales, with the first quarter of 2008 seeing additional recruitment in Toolsetting, the Mouldshop and Supply Chain.  Both Janicke and John will be essential to successfully managing the increase in demand, allowing BNL to continue to offer customers innovative plastic bearing designs and superior service.

About BNL

BNL (UK) Ltd specialises in the design and manufacture of innovative thermoplastic bearing assemblies and technical moulding solutions.  Plastic bearings offer many advantages over the traditional steel bearing, including anti-static properties, low friction and corrosion and chemical resistance.  They are lightweight with low inertia and have no requirement for lubrication.  BNL’s dedicated in-house design team is able to promote added value through the integration of other features - such as axles, gears, fixing clips, mounting flanges and pulleys - to form fully integrated bearing assemblies that maximise functionality and deliver whole system cost reductions.
