BNL (UK) Limited is owned by UK-based Plastics Capital Limited, who acquired BNL in December 2005. In addition to innovative plastic bearings produced by BNL, Plastics Capital companies produce a range of technical extrusions for the rubber hose and cardboard packaging industries. The company operates through four operating subsidiaries, all based in the UK. In total, over 70% of sales are exported to over 50 countries all around the world. Plastics Capital will continue to develop its core product portfolio organically and add new products by acquisition and internal development.
In April 2007, BNL acquired Cobb Slater Limited, an established injection moulding company best known for its expertise in technical mouldings, electrical security products, and plastic bearings. This acquisition is part of BNL’s global strategy to strengthen its product and service offerings to its customers, by providing innovative thermoplastic bearing assemblies and specialty technical mouldings.
BNL also operates three sales and project support facilities: BNL (USA) Inc. in Foxboro, MA in the USA, BNL (Japan) Inc. in Tokyo Japan plus in the Chinese market through Shanghai Plastics Capital Trading Limited in Shanghai, China. BNL (Thailand) Limited is our new manufacturing facility in Rayong, Thailand.
