BNL Thailand Receives ISO/TS 16949 Automotive Certification

Knaresborough, UK; 18th March 2014 – BNL Thailand, the Asia-Pacific manufacturing site of integrated plastic bearing designer and manufacturer, BNL (UK) Ltd., has announced that it has achieved certification to ISO/TS16949:2009, the recognised quality system standard for the design, development, production and servicing of automotive related products.
Established in 2008, BNL Thailand services BNL’s growing markets in Korea, Malaysia, China, Japan and other Asian countries, including leading OEMs of business machines, cash handling machines, security systems and automotive products. The ISO/TS16949 certification builds on BNL Thailand’s existing ISO9001 certification and brings the facility in line with BNL’s well-established factory in Knaresborough, UK, which has continuously maintained ISO/TS16949 certification since 2004.
