Top Tips for Winning International Business: UKTI Export Event Week

As part of the UKTI’s Export Event Week, BNL (UK) Limited, a world leading designer and manufacturer of plastic bearing solutions based in Knaresborough, North Yorkshire, will be sharing experiences of successfully growing a business in overseas markets.

BNL’s Business Development Director, Janicke Aitken, will be speaking at an event on the 16th November at Conyngham Hall, Knaresborough, North Yorkshire, focussed on identifying, developing and winning international business.

Introduced by Andrew Jones MP, Member of Parliament for Harrogate and Knaresborough, the event will include advice from the UKTI on potential growth opportunities available in regions outside of the embattled European markets. There is also a session where BNL and other local businesses involved in exporting to non-European countries will discuss their experiences of international expansion.

BNL export over 90% of their plastic bearing products to a worldwide market and their customer base comprises a diverse range of industries, from automotive to photocopiers and from CCTV to food processing. Janicke will be sharing BNL’s recent experiences of setting up sales and manufacturing facilities in Asia and the opportunities and challenges encountered in their long-established markets of the United States, Japan and Europe.


The half day event starts at 13.30 and runs through until 16:00.
