BNL at PDM 2009

BNL (UK) Limited’s New Technology team are participating in the Moulding Innovations Debate at PDM 2009 on the 21st May.

The focus of the debate is new plastics processing concepts and how developments in plastics moulding technology can lead to innovative products and significant cost reductions in manufacturing processes.  It is one of six debates in the free Conference programme running along side the PDM exhibition.

Jason Gregory, BNL New Technologies Team

BNL has long been a promoter of the innovative use of plastic in the bearing industry and Jason Gregory, part of BNL’s New Technology team, is looking forward to participating in the debate.

“PDM is now established as a key event for the plastics industry, achieving the right balance between sales and education.  The Moulding Innovations debate is a great opportunity to discuss topics at the heart of BNL’s entire philosophy – the innovative use of plastics moulding technologies and the advantages unique to this method of manufacturing.”

BNL has a track record of providing innovative plastic bearing solutions for applications as diverse as steering columns and security cameras, to photocopiers and shower enclosures.

“The ability to form complex shapes using polymers makes it an excellent material for developing new products or finding new ways of making an existing product.  BNL have extensive experience of plastic moulding innovation and integration, through many years developing all-plastic, fully-moulded bearing assemblies,” stated Jason.

Described as ‘the most exciting, productive and progressive gathering in the UK plastics market’, PDM 2009 showcases the very latest technologies and is attended by thousands of key decision makers from the industry.  The free Conferences feature expert speakers and cover important themes facing the industry today.

About BNL (UK) Ltd
