BNL (UK) Ltd. acquires injection-moulding company Cobb Slater Ltd
BNL (UK) Limited, a leading designer and manufacturer of innovative plastic bearing solutions based in Knaresborough, North Yorkshire, has acquired Cobb Slater Limited of the East Midlands, UK.
(20th April 2007; UK) Cobb Slater Limited is an established injection moulding company best known for its expertise in technical mouldings, electrical security products, and plastic bearings.
This acquisition is part of BNL’s global strategy to strengthen its product and service offerings to its customers by providing innovative thermoplastic bearing assemblies and specialty technical mouldings. The addition of Cobb Slater will enhance the product range and services that can be offered to customers.
Dr. Neil Partlett, Managing Director of BNL (UK) Ltd, stated that the acquisition forms part of the company’s intention to continue the robust organic growth that BNL has experienced in the last few years. “We want to accelerate our growth both organically and through acquisitions.
