BNL Business Expansion Leads to New Role
BNL (UK) Ltd is pleased to announce the appointment of John Nichols as Chief Operating Officer. John will be responsible for the successful execution of BNL’s working strategies at a time of expansion for the company.
(October 2007; UK) The thermoplastic bearing assembly designer and manufacturer, is currently experiencing a period of both organic and inorganic growth, including the acquisition of injection moulding and bearing manufacturer, Cobb Slater Limited, earlier this year.
John states that BNL’s development has accelerated to such an extent, that the business has moved into a new era. The new role of COO is necessary to further the company’s operational expansion, whilst safeguarding its essential business relationships.
“In a competitive market customers expect value for money; it is therefore important that BNL concentrates on continuing to offer the additional service and support which has always set it apart. BNL has always had an abundance of ‘team ethic’ and that includes our customers and suppliers. I am proud to be given the opportunity to play a key role in the future success of the company by ensuring we are able to maintain that attribute as the company continues to grow.”
John’s appointment to the post will allow Managing Director, Dr. Neil Partlett, to focus more on the company’s medium to long-term strategy for development.
With thirty years experience in the manufacturing industry, John has been at BNL for ten years.
