BNL’s dedicated in-house design team achieves the best and most cost effective solutions for all its customers, often contributing to the evolution of the end product. Their specialist design expertise in conjunction with world leading CAD technology, results in the promotion of added value through the integration of other features such as axles, precision gears, fixing clips, mounting flanges and pulleys in order to form fully integrated assemblies that maximise functionality and deliver whole system cost reductions.

The customer’s original solution and six of its 18 constituent parts

In the example shown here - a bearing for the base unit of a rotating
emergency vehicle warning light - the BNL product replaces a total of 18
individual components (including nuts, bolts, washers, steel bearings, clips
and screw adjusters) that made up the customer’s existing solution.

The net benefit to the customer is a fully integrated, all-plastic assembly (right), featuring a motor mounting bracket, bulb holder and reflector clips, providing cost savings through a significantly reduced parts count and assembly time.
