LCD Manufacture
BNL design and produce plastic bearing solutions, which form part of the shaft assemblies used to move glass sheets in processing of LCD screens. BNL’s plastic bearing assemblies offer chemical resistance, a reduction of contact damage to the screens and the ability to operate efficiently under exposure to extreme temperatures and static electricity, allowing the smooth movement of glass through this harsh environment.
BNL produces wheels for this industry with races produced in such materials as acetal, UHMWPE, PTFE and PEEK, fitted with balls of stainless steel, glass and ceramics such as Aluminium oxide and zirconium dioxide. Caged and full compliment products can be produced in single row and double row designs dependant upon load and speed requirements.
